Mini Vacation
So Jeremy's boss gave us a Mini Vacation for him doing such a good job at work lately. So Friday we left to go over to Seattle to stay in the hotel he had booked for us. So we are on the way there and we get to the top of the pass and Jaida starts throwing up everywhere. I felt so bad for her strapped into her car seat and looking at us like what is happening to me?
So we get over to the side of the road and clean out her car seat and take off her yucky clothes. Then we are on our way to find the hotel. Well when we get there we are all starving and there is a Outback Steak House right next door. So I sent Jeremy to go get McDonald's for Jaida and a blooming onion for us. We ate and then swimming in the pool. (Jaida would not get in and Jorja loved it.) So then we went up to the suite and gave the girls baths and put them in bed. The next morning Jeremy and I wake up so sick. I think from the blooming onion.( bad grease nausea) We were supposed to go to the bite of Seattle. Needless to say we were not feeling up to being around all that food. So we went to Jeremy's Dad's in Lynnwood to clean out the car seat. (that was stinking up the back hole car) While there we decided to go to a movie and leave the girls with his Dad. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie. While there Jeremy was shivering and I thought well the theaters are always cold. When we got back to his Dad's I took his temp and he indeed had a temperature. Poor guy. So we stayed and extra night (at his Dads) and woke up the next morning and went to the Mill Creek Festival. It was pretty fun. Jaida (and me) got to have Cold Stones ice cream for the first time. It was great! Then we headed home and prayed Jaida didn't get car sick in her newly clean car seat. She went straight to sleep and slept the hole way. Thank God. Then we get home and start unloading to find that she had peed all over her car seat while sleeping. WOW what a weekend. Even though we were all sick (except Jorja) we had a great time and it was so so nice of Jeremy's boss to reward him (and us) with a great experience. Well that's all for now. 4th of July
So I have had this blog page for sometime and I'm finally just trying to figure it out. Well here goes
Jeremy the girls and I had a great 4th. We went up to CleElum for the parade and then brought the girls home to take naps and take a little rest from the sun as it was extremely hot that day. After the girls were well rested we went down to the West Ellensburg Park for the festivities and fireworks. Jaida loved the fireworks. This is the first year she could actually stay awake long enough to see them. She was thrilled and kept saying "catch them catch them" It was so inocent and cute. Jorja also loved them she just stared at the sky with big wide eyes and then fell asleep about 5 min. before it was over. Laying there with my husband and girls gave me such a surreal feeling. I feel so lucky & especially blessed to have such a beutiful family. Well I will try to upload so pictures if I can figure out how. LOL I know I should be so much better at this.
